Away with Pinocchio, make room for Palme! After some incidences, the little wooden droid Palme finds himself on a journey to get a mysterious artefact from the surface to the underworld. On his way, he attracts a mixed bunch of companions, and Palme decides to deliver the artefact to the lord of the underworld, the mighty tree of Soma, so that he in return shall change Palme into a human. Meanwhile, the people of the underworld are planning a rebellion against Soma and have to prevent the artefact from finding its way to him.
A Tree Of Palme is a complex fairytale and may not fit into any category so very easily. It's not a milestone, but it's interesting. The designs are partially magnificent (locations, plants, animals), partially cheap (several characters).
