College life should have been nice. Being active in a preferably hip club ... idolized by girls with raven-hued hair ... something went wrong. A deity met at a snack-bar by chance is on his way to a meeting, where deities appoint the love couples of the next season. The one and only woman in the run for oneself (beautiful outside and inside, even) is being hooked up with oneself or with exactly the guy who started pulling everything from the projected rosy future into darkness, the bad influence in person. How will the gods decide? How can the fair maiden be saved from the grasp of the hideous fiend? Advice is being looked for in several flashbacks replaying respectively altered versions of the past two years, yet there are constants.
The Tatami Galaxy is style, narration with the speed of a machine gun, style, great characters, style, interestingly laid-out story, style, highly entertaining, and style. A trip superbly done.
