The provisional score is based on 6 episodes.
An (almost) insane scientist sends a message into space and hopes for an answer. Which does not exactly turn out as expected. The unfortunately pretty unfriendly Skrugg follow the signal, land at the U.S. West Coast in Center City and plan to enslave the whole planet. Every defensive measure humanity comes up with proves useless ... except for Heroman, a toy saved from scrap and repaired by the usual underdog Joey, and now after an initial stroke of lightning able to transform into a supersized superhero with superpowers as needed. Together with the professor responsible for the mess at hand and some friends Joey and Heroman set work on saving the world ... if possible ... When it comes to plot, development and characters, Heroman is uninventive if not cliche, but that is entirely intended. Here a retro event awaits, which simply does its well-known thing and tries to score with the presentation, easily succeeding therewith. If expectations exclude anything new content-wise, very good entertainment.
